How it works
1.A liquid refrigerant absorbs heat from the outdoor air and turns into gas.
2.A compressor squeezes the gas, significantly raising its temperature and pressure.
3.The hot gas releases its heat into the indoor space and turns back into a liquid.
4.An expansion valve reduces the liquid's pressure and temperature, preparing it to absorb heat again.
